Unlike other tall buildings, Nakheel Tower is made up of four individual cores, which was inspired by Islamic geometric patterns that are symmetrical and balanced. Nakheel Harbour & Tower will be home to more than 80,000 people, a workplace for 40,000 more, and will attract millions of visitors each year. These residents, visitors and workforce will be serviced by a complete transportation hub with accessible and efficient water and land options, providing the most convenient connections of choice to the rest of Dubai. This transportation hub will include a modern metro system combined with a unique water transport interchange, including an Abra and Dhow station.

There will also be water transportation, private transportation and light rail service within the development itself to provide the most convenient connections to the rest of Dubai.
